We have worked at Hestercombe for many years in the early stages of the restoration of the Georgian pleasure garden created between 1750-1791 by Coplestone Warre Bampfylde.
After being neglected for nearly fifty years work began in 1995 and today the garden is well on the way to being returned to its original Arcadian beauty.
We have been responsible for the restoration of the Temple and Mausoleum and for the reconstruction of the Gothic Alcove and Witches Hut, all designed to frame a series of stunning views and vistas.
Each project required a range of skills and experience including archaeology, archival research, project management and a thorough understanding of traditional construction and details.
