For over ten years we have been involved at Leeds Castle, Kent, advising the Trustees on the care and conservation of the Kentish ragstone stonework to the Castle and other buildings. Work has included the renewal of stonework to the windows of the main Castle, as well as stonework repairs to the Gloriette and Gloriette Passage. In 2005/6 we were responsible for the conservation, repair and renewal of stonework to the Maiden's Tower, together with the complete renewal of all roof coverings.
With our work at Leeds Castle, we have sought to retain as much of the existing fabric as possible, while sensitively conserving or replacing defective areas of stonework.
